Image Description: Well, since Cars here won't be out till august and upon reading the CGS feature I just had the urge to do my version, it differs a bit from their style, mainly in the teeth. And, yes, the eyes where actually a pain as stated in the interview...
Basically done in maya, except for the "smile", which was done in zbrush, and the background vegetation that's done with Vue d'esprit, rendered with HDRI, assembled in photoshop.
